Ryan can read minds and is being exploited by his step dad for criminial purposes.
Ryan's step dad is a nasty piece of work as is his dad's girlfriend. Ryan escapes only to be run down by Mrs Kent.
After a brief stay in hospital, the Kent family look after Ryan for a spell. Of course Ryan guesses superman's secret even though his is the only mind he can't read. Before they all live hapily ever after, there's a dramatic sequence involving Lex Luthor, a shoot out and some good action material.
This is a good episode with some top class acting and great scary bits.
